SMAD4(mutant type)
For detailed design information, you can look up the registry of (BBa_K 4606003), the device for gene segment of SMAD4. According to the base sequence information of SMAD4 in the database, we mutated the SMAD4 gene in a region that complementary binds to miR-3074-5p. By inserting its 3’UTR region (414bp) behind the luciferase gene in the vector, we could determine the expression level of this gene segment.

Design Notes
Based on the online repository of miRNA targets, SMAD4 might be a target of miR-3074-5p in osteoarthritis. Here we mutated the SMAD4 gene (wild type) in a region that complementary binds to miR-3074-5p.
